Our Story

Cassie Holmes, the founder of Equestrian Creations, started life as a horse-crazy little girl, and has been riding horses since the age of 6.  Artistic ability manifested itself into thousands of horse sketches, which almost resulted in her failing an art class (due to her singular focus on this one subject) but ultimately led to the beginning of Equestrian Creations in 2002: commissioned fine art horse portraits.

A few detours and some unexpected twists and turns later, including a period of time creating greeting cards and horse-themed soaps, Cassie focused her energy on digital design and printing t-shirts.  In 2015, she released her first collection of equestrian graphic tees, including the popular Boss Mare design.  They debuted at the Albuquerque Equestrian Cup in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  

Today, what was once a business located literally on top of the kitchen counter by one equestrian "mompreneur" of a baby and a preschooler has now transformed into a (still small) business located in a studio overlooking horses, barn, and riding arena.  A small crew supports our growing business, which now includes women's, youth, and infant apparel, hats, mugs, bags, decals, and more.
